Bar Update & Autumn Bookings

We’re not quite ready to offer automated bookings to the public just yet, but we have made our view‑only calendar available so that you can see what's happening while we complete the final stages of our booking system and prepare rooms for hire. Once a + sign appears next to a date, you’ll be able to log in as a customer and submit your own booking requests online.  For now, we’re continuing to schedule regular bookings for our partners, medical and wellbeing services and activity providers. Thank you for your patience and support as we get everything in place.

We’re hoping to open the Community Hub bar on a more regular basis soon. There’s still some work to complete in the cellars and we're finalising plans for opening hours, staffing, events and even which draft beers to stock. We also have a fair amount of clearing, rubbish removal and cleaning to tackle before the spaces are fully ready — and any volunteer help at this stage would make a real difference. Our new Building Manager will be joining us soon and will welcome your thoughts on how you’d like the bar to operate and how you'd like to celebrate Christmas at the Memorial Hall.

In the meantime, we’re making full use of the areas that are ready and sharing the Community Hub space until the upper‑floor rooms have been restored. If you'd like to enquire about hiring the Activity Centre or the Community Hub (with or without a bar) in Autumn 2026, please check out our hire charges and room capacity to see if we meet your requirements.
