Join a BHCT sub-group
Barrow Hill Community Trust operates with a sub-group structure whereby a small group of people are assigned to focus on a particular project. Each group can include a mix of specialist advisers, representatives of partner organisations, local residents and at least one trustee who reports group recommendations to the Board of Trustees for decision. Operational working groups are set up to respond to current priorities and appeals for local people with experience or knowledge of the task are posted on-line and in newsletters.
Barrow Hill Community Trust is a registered charity and charity trustees are the people who share ultimate responsibility for governing a charity and directing how it is managed and run. You may be able to bring a particular expertise to the Board, such as professional skills or experience, but equally as important are listening and communication skills, commitment and common sense.
WE ARE RECRUITING! We are currently looking to recruit 3 new trustees who could lead on either Health and Safety, Finance or Communications. Please click on the links below for more information.
