Join a BHCT sub-group
Barrow Hill Community Trust operates with a sub-group structure whereby a small group of people are assigned to focus on a particular task, problem or project. Each group can include a mix of specialist advisers, representatives of partner organisations, local residents and at least one trustee who reports group recommendations to the Board of Trustees for decision. Groups are set up to respond to current priorities and appeals for local people with experience or knowledge of the task are posted on-line and in newsletters.
Become a trustee
Barrow Hill Community Trust is a registered charity and charity trustees are the people who share ultimate responsibility for governing a charity and directing how it is managed and run. You may be able to bring a particular expertise to the Board, such as professional skills or experience, but equally as important are listening and communication skills, commitment and common sense.
If you would be interested in becoming a trustee of the charity, please contact us for an information pack.
