Are you passionate about people and your local community? Do you want a role where every conversation can make a difference? This is your chance to help shape a new position supporting better health and wellbeing in Barrow Hill.
We’re looking for someone who cares about their local community and wants to help people live healthier, happier lives. You’ll work with people of all ages—young, old, and families—giving advice and helping them find the right health and support services.
You’ll be out and about in the community, meeting people face-to-face, listening to their needs, and helping them with the skills and confidence to tackle the problems affecting their health and wellbeing. You will work alongside people as equal partners, actively listening to what matters to them, building trust and rapport to help them to recognise what they need, and to connect them with the best available support or intervention to meet their need.
You will be part of a supportive team, based in the Memorial Hall, which will make a difference to individuals and families and the whole community and help to ensure that facilities and services are designed and available in the best possible way.
Discussions are underway with the NHS locally to see if it would be beneficial for the role to be hosted by North Derbyshire Primary Care Network which is formed from the GP surgeries run by Royal Primary Care. This will be decided by the time of the job interview and the arrangements clarified with shortlisted candidates.
